VizVeo Network ("VizVeo," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our free streaming service. VizVeo is currently a free application. If we introduce paid features in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, and password (managed securely by our authentication provider)
• Profile information: Profile names, avatar color selections, and kids profile designations
• Submissions: Name, email, phone number, and story content submitted through our show submission forms

• Watch history: Content you have watched, watch progress, and completion status
• App interactions: Watchlist additions, favorites, and content preferences
• IP address: Collected by our hosting provider for service security and delivery

We share your information with the following service providers who help us operate our service:

• Base44: Our backend-as-a-service provider that manages our database, authentication, file storage, hosting, and serverless functions. Your account data, profile data, watchlist, favorites, watch history, and submissions are stored and processed by Base44.
• Bunny.net: Our video content delivery network (CDN) provider that hosts and delivers all streaming video content and thumbnails. When you stream a video, your IP address and video request data are processed by Bunny.net.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: Request access to your personal information
• Correction: Update or correct your information through your profile settings
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data through the app's Profile settings or through our external account deletion page
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter emails at any time

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure servers, and row-level security on all user data. Account passwords are hashed and managed securely by our authentication provider. Access to user data is restricted to the account owner and authorized administrators.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services:

• Account data: Retained while your account is active; permanently deleted when you request account deletion
• Watch history & preferences: Retained while your account is active
• Submissions: Retained per our content review process
• Newsletter emails: Retained until you unsubscribe
• Analytics: We do not currently use third-party analytics services

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app's Profile settings or through our external account deletion page at https://vizveo.tv/DeleteAccount.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Base44: Backend infrastructure including database, authentication, file storage, hosting, and serverless functions
• Bunny.net: Video hosting and content delivery network for streaming

We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies in our app. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking providers collect data through our app.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents can create kids profiles within the app, which restrict content to the kids category only. Kids profiles do not collect any additional personal information — they only store a profile name and avatar color.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Account deletion is available:

• Inside the app: Go to Profile → Delete Account
• Online (without logging in): Visit https://vizveo.tv/DeleteAccount

Account deletion permanently removes your account, profiles, watchlist, favorites, watch history, subscriptions, notifications, and submissions. This action cannot be undone.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to Know: Request disclosure of what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell your data)
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

12. International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using VizVeo, you consent to this transfer.

13. Cookies and Local Storage

Our app uses local storage (not cookies) to remember your theme preference (dark/light), language preference (English/Spanish), and active profile selection. This data is stored on your device and is not sent to our servers. You can clear this data by clearing your browser or app storage.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our service. Continued use of VizVeo after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Future Paid Features

VizVeo is currently a free application. If we introduce premium subscriptions, paid content, or other paid features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe how payment information is collected and processed. Any payment processing will be handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system (on iOS) or Google Play Billing (on Android), and we will not store your full payment card details on our servers.
